Theater Jones
Born and raised in the DFW metroplex, I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.F.A. in Theater Performance. The UTA theater program opened a wide variety of doors for me.
Such as having the opportunity to study in New York for a summer at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting while crashing on a couch in Harlem with three men I barely knew. My professors also provided immense support when I left early during my final semester to perform off-Broadway.
I had an unconventional beginning to my acting career. I was stubbornly holding onto a marketing degree out of fear until life awoke in me, that I was undeniably an artist. (or as I fondly refer to it as my f* this I'm an artist epiphany) Realizing I was an actor wasn't an obvious or easy journey, but it was worth it.
Nowadays you can find me tackling my to do list and writing in a cozy corner at a Cafe Brazil or at home cuddling my rat Daisy.
